A previous funny claim which can be viewed on the SCAMWATCH.COM site also operated by Peter Hampton states.

We find this absolutely hilarious that they should advertise such a scheme on their SCAMWATCH.COM site. For a donation of ONLY $20 you can receive a T-Shirt absolutely FREE, or maybe a Police badge lapel pin absolutely free for a donation of ONLY $5, or maybe an Official Web Police SWAT cap for a donation of ONLY $15 for those quiet evenings of sitting ondoors and arresting people on IRC.

We can only conclude that this was yet another money making scheme by Peter Hampton who in my our opinion is a Snake Oil salesman. You give money and you get something for FREE?, sounds like a sale to us and one of the oldest tricks in the book to catch a sucker. Don't they supposedly warn people about scams like that? I'm guessing as part of their usual hypocrisy and double standards it is ok for them to run bubious schemes but not ok for other sites to do it.

Ironic that they promote this scheme on a supposed Anti Scam site. This scheme is very similar to the make a $10 donation and receive a bible absolutely FREE. How can anyone resist a bargain like that. We urge all our readers to sign up immediately, if the deal is on SCAMWATCH.COM, then it can't be a SCAM can it? Or can it? We eagerly await the sweat shirts and the black tactical Police special ops computers which were formerly advertised on previous sites.
