International
Web Police - Chief of Police Badge. Real or Fake? Recently we purchased
an International Web Police, Chief of Police badge from a badge collectiong
site. Peter Hampton claims that it a fake made for $3. You can see the
badge we purchased HERE. However we do have a written attestation from the original owner of this badge that it was presented to him by the International Web Police. What never ceases to amaze me is how everyone else always appears to be the liar according to Peter Hampton. There is a long and established pattern to this in that anyone who ever speaks out against him is the liar and he is always the injured party that would never tell a lie. Amazing, isn't it? We also have an attestation from the badge dealer we purchased this wonderful item from that this badge has absolutely no official status as a Police badge by any description and is more likely to have cost $45 or so to have made. We also got an International Web Police lapel pin thrown in for the $60 we bought the item for. The lapel pins were the ones that were given away for FREE for a donation of only $5 or more, as advertised on the SCAMWATCH.COM web site. We are also led to believe that Francine Robitalle footed the cost of $500 to have the lapel pins made, 500 of them I believe and was never reimbursed for them but you can guess where the profits went that were made on them went. I'm sure we all have a good idea who got the donations but can only hazard a guess as to what the money was spent on. Almost unbelievable that they pulled the FREE gift for a donation scam on their own supposed anti scam site. Aren't they supposed to protect people from scams and schemes on there? Receipt of our order email. Notice it says *it is not Police, Fire or Military Badge or Patch* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have received your order for Intl Web Police Chief Breast Badge and Lapel Pin and will process and ship on Monday 5/10/04. Victor S.
Klein ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We informed Victor that Peter Hampton claimed that the badge was a fake. We don't believe a word Peter Hampton says anyway but you should find the below email interesting which confirmed that this badge could not be made for $3 as Hampton claims. Victor was able to give us his comments on this which we believe to be 100% true as we were also able to verify costs elsewhere which was slightly more than Victor stated. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know very
little about the "Web Police" other than what I have heard As for Peter
Hampton claim that the badge is a fake made for reselling and I would love to read your article when it is completed. Victor S.
Klein ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The long and the short of it is that anybody with any degree of common sense will not believe Peter Hampton's claim that it was made for $3. Victor Klein was also honest enough to state in his original email that the badge was not an official law enforcement badge and as such no registration was required. He didn't need to be honest about it, yet he was. That says a lot and his honesty could have lost him a sale from someone that was shopping for genuine police badges. However this was not the case as we already knew it had no remit with any law enforcement agencies when we purchased the item.
The item formerly belonged to Lt. Stefan Pieksma who is a member of the Swedish Army and was for a short time the Chief of Police for the International Web Police. I also have a letter on Swedish Army headed paper detailing how Stefan Pieksma was presented the badge by the International Web Police and attesting that he never had it made himself. The letter is also signed and dated. I have also verified that Lt. Stefan Pieksma formerly owned International Web Police badge number 03428 as is seen detailed on the above badge. Again it is no no real enigma to figure out who is most likely to be telling the truth and who is not. As usual I will let you draw your own conclusions from the facts. Anyone with sharp
eyesight might also spot one of the wonderful International Web Police
lapel pins which accompanied this badge which you could get for FREE
on Scamwatch.Com for a donation of only $5 or more. |
