Peter Hampton Convicted Criminal?

According to Peter Hampton quoted below, he claims to have a criminal record which in his own words would certainly make him a convicted criminal. If this is indeed true then it would mean that the President of the International Web Police and InterGOV is little more than a common criminal! What kind of message does this send to people who are asked to put their faith and trust into InterGOV?

This raises a very serious trust issue and how many heads of Police Forces that you know of have criminal records? According to Peter Hampton's own words he is a criminal that hires convicted criminals to fight crime, this sounds rather like a den of iniquity to me and alarm bells should be ringing out loud and clear by now to anybody that happens to be reading this.

Peter Hampton's claims go on to state that their SO (Special Operations) unit has a few hundred "reformed" criminals in it. Mr. Hampton knows that they are reformed how? No background checks or proper screening is ever performed so how could he possibly know this? It is a fact that some of his members are repeat offenders and he appears to care very little about individuals with criminal records as his cavalier attitude below clearly indicates.

He furthermore claims to be protecting the public from criminals and lists many law enforcement services on his plethora of web pages that claim to be the solution for almost any kind of problem you could ever dream of. Would you trust this individual with your personal information knowing that he claims to be a criminal and furthermore claims to have hundreds of convicted felons on his staff? It is my opinion that only somebody who was completely unhinged would trust this individual given his below claims.

Is this maybe why his many pages that have misled the public for many years and make absolutely no mention of this and claim they are staffed by real law enforcement Officers instead? It is truly disgraceful that Peter Hampton has been able to get away with this charade for so long secure in the belief that nobody can do anything to curtail his reprehensible activities.

Any decent and law abiding citizen is almost certain to find the below comments by Peter Hampton to be absolutely disgusting and completely irresponsible as regards public safety. I am absolutely horrified that this individual can make such statements and then expect people to place their trust in him. There is no wonder that no known law enforcement agency will officially recognise him or any of his phoney pseudo official agencies.

Mr Hampton also claims to run family and child safe chat rooms, where families and children can rub shoulders with the hundreds of convicted felons he recruits? It is my firm belief that nobody in their right mind should put their trust into this individual's claims after reading his below statements. Mr. Hampton would have people believe that he is an upstanding, concerned and law abiding citizen if you read his statement on his Criminals page where he labels people who use our public forum as criminals and cites all kinds of charges.

Peter Hampton also labeled Russel Smith of Consumer.Net as an Internet crime suspect and linked him with child molestors and said he should be arrested. Hampton also allegedly fabricated several messages and attributed them to Smith. InterGOV were told by their web hosting provider to remove these pages or be kicked off the service. The web provider recognized one of the phony messages attributed to Smith as it was an excerpt from a widely distributed message from CyberPromo.com threatening retaliation for 'flamers.' Intergov has never answered the questions about his membership claims.

The above must just about say it all and far more than my own words could ever say. Personally I would not trust this individual to even protect my dog if I had one let alone entrust the safety of 500 million Internet users to his agencies. Peter Hampton has many times claimed that without InterGOV the Internet would not exist in the same format as it does today which is all down to the protection for every single Internet citizen which he claims to provide. I have yet to establish how exactly he protects me or my family and you the reader.

Common sense has always been the best protection and most genuine Police agencies also endorse an education policy where it is better to educate individuals and prevent crimes than it is to have to try and solve them and mop up the spilled milk afterwards. There is just no substitute for common sense regardless of what InterGOV might claim. Common sense would make any intelligent individual steer well clear of any of Peter Hampton's pseudo official crimebusting agencies.

As he is an individual and not a recognised law enforcement agency he has no powers to apprehend, interview or prosecute individuals suspected of any crimes, he also has no properly trained investigators to investigate any of these reported crimes. In fact he has no more power to do anything about crimes than the victim reporting it directly to the Police, this is also a quicker and more direct approach and one that is endorsed by every genuine Police agency that I have ever been in contact with.

We urge victims of any Internet related crimes to report them to their local law enforcement agency directly and immediately, your local law enforcement agency really does have the powers and resources to help you despite the claims made by InterGOV. Also nearly every country I can think of has a department which specializes in computer and Internet related crimes.

The above information should be more than enough to set loud alarm bells ringing with any concerned Internet citizen.

Peter Hampton also in the above claims that he was a cop for many years and in a news article claims that he was a former Sheriff. Many hours of research have failed to establish that Peter Hampton was anymore than a retired construction worker and a security guard for Sears stores in Fishers, Indiana.
